Our goal is to promote awareness, support affected individuals, and advance research.  In doing this we hope to empower those affected to achieve a higher quality of life.

Functional Neurological Disorders Symptoms are not only misunderstood, but little is known. Functional Neurological Disorder Provides an umbrella term for a variety of symptoms of apparent neurological origin, but which current models struggle to explain psychologically or organically. Presentation may be similar to a wide range of other neurological conditions from paralysis to weakness. A computer analogy is commonly used to explain FND.  There is a glitch in how the brain is sending and receiving messages in the body. This glitch can be the product of many other disorders ranging from Autoimmune, MS, Epilepsy, organic Neurological Movement Disorders to Psychological Trauma from the past or present.  Many people with FND find frustration with the inability to fully identify the root of this disorder or an organic cause.  We at FND Hope strive to help YOU achieve a healthier and happier life.
